Final Fantasy has always been my favorite series. You either love it or hate it but there is nothing like saving the world to put a spot of brightness in your day. Cid reinvented is always interesting. Square Enix tanks it's last two though. I stopped playing Final Fantasy XIII and because of its limited console scope (and the fact that I use Mac and not PC) I did not attempt Final Fantasy XIV. I've heard that XIV looked great but lacked content of XI MMO. And of course, XI is going bye-bye I think. I simply do not have the hours to put into a MMO and everyone is bucking for level 99 as of the recent update. FFXI has lost its luster for the new comers. Though I know that 13-2 is coming, I am not sure I have the stamina for another FF Fail. So, is this goodbye?
I'd like to play with someone who if familiar with the old school FFXI. The new players do not seem to be in it for the story. I do not want a social linkshell because my only objective is to get something accomplished when I log in. I would be interested in a low level Static shell full alliance sized or smaller. When we do things we do it together and our goal to to make sure we all succeed. There should be a linkshell forum so we can decide who can be on when so that things are fair. I am not the best player but I'd like to know my job and do it well.
